Your role in our team
- You will handle all aspects of design engineering work
- You will provide production support to the machining and assembly areas
- You will use PTC Creo to model purchase parts and custom parts
- You will draft detailed multi-view drawings of machine and products
- You will perform research on design of manufacturing processes
- You will perform prototyping activities of new product development
- You will evaluate and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
- You will review product design for compliance and engineering principles, company standards, and customer’s requirements
- You will present their system and the assemblies that make up the system to the customer
- You will work with vendors, customers, and employees on a professional level
- You will control expenditures within limitations of project budget
- You will determine problem analysis and problem resolution
- You will specifie and orders integrated tools/equipment
- you will troubleshoot to solve problems related to assigned projects
- You will create BOM’s for purchased parts and machined parts
- You will directly communicates with customers in the form of meetings and presentations to understand and define their needs
Your profile
- You have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience required
- You have experience in manufacturing environment with machining and mechanical assembly preferred
- You have a minimum of two years automation OEM design engineering experience required or equivalent
- You display moderate skill level in 3D modeling (Creo Preferred) software
- You demonstrate computer literacy with MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-Outlook
- You have the ability to design parts with DFM in mind
- You are capable of designing new concepts and standards
- You have the ability to think ahead and plan over a 3 – 6 month time span
- You display great attention to detail
- You have the ability to work in a team environment
- You show organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- You show knowledge of production and assembly techniques
- You have the ability to solve practical problems
- You have the ability to travel 10% of the year
- You exhibit troubleshooting skills, both mechanical and electrical
- You have understanding BoM structure and organization requirements
- You display expertise in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) software
- You display great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- You have ability to develop and maintain large-scale BOMs, utilizing PDM software
- You must be able to make good decisions independently
- You have ability to speak effectively before customers to facilitate equipment design reviews
- You have ability to develop a new product from the ground up
- You have experience with PLM/PDM software (Teamcenter preferred)
- You hae experience with ERP software (SAP preferred)
