Billing ManagerPRIMARY PURPOSE:Â To ensure the quality of invoices, to adhere to any contracts/agreements in place with clients and to maintain working relationships among current and future clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists management, adjusters, support staff and billing specialists with invoicing inquiries/requirements.
- Maintains record of adjuster billing rates for invoicing purposes, as well as in billing system.
- Maintains record of fee schedules/billing agreements that Sedgwick has in place with clients.
- Controls and generates invoicing to ensure that it adheres to fee schedules/billing agreements in place with clients as well as invoicing standards.
- Oversees workflow within Central Billing Unit.
- Resolves invoicing issues with management, adjusters, and support staff.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
- Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
- Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include four (4) years of billing experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience.

- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
