JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work under the direction of the Inspection Superviosr. 


  • Plan and perform a variety of incoming, first piece setup, and final audit inspections, keep records, check and test, following standard and recognized procedures.
  • Function as a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operator and/or bench inspector to audit in-process work to assure parts are in accordance with specifications.
  • Duties involve the use of a variety of gauges and precision measuring instruments. Verify use of inspection equipment and check calibration to assure that expiration date of calibration has not been exceeded.
  • Duties involve use and interpretation of complex blueprints and specifications together with the ability to perform relevant calculations and layouts.
  • Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials and unusual matters to proper supervision. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed and standard safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

7:00 am - 3:00 pm
