Overview

Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative clinic environment! In this role, you’ll perform both CLIA-waived and non-waived laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy and independent judgment, including testing in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and coagulation. You’ll also assist with specimen processing, perform phlebotomy as needed, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. We’re looking for a dependable, team-oriented professional with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting. 

 

Best of all, this is a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM clinic position with no nights, no weekends, and the clinic is closed for the six major holidays!

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform chemical, microscopic, and hematologic tests to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Process and handle specimens appropriately
  • Calibrate and Run QC according to policies and procedures
  • Use computers for report handling and quality control

Qualifications: 

  • Associates Degree and Graduation from Accredited Clinical Laboratory Training Program OR Bachelors in Laboratory Science
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
