Gymnastics Club Cleaner/Custodian

Job Type:  Part-Time         Flexible Schedule:  Monday-Thursday before 3 pm (approx. 10-12 hrs/wk)             Salary Range:  $16-$18.00/hr

Role Summary:  Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for athletes, coaches, and visitors.  Gymnastics facilities involve high traffic areas, chalk dust, specialized mats, and vigorous physical activity, requiring meticulous attention to hygiene and safety standards. 

Key Responsibilities: *Gym Floor & Equipment Sanitization-clean and disinfect all vinyl-covered mats, tumbling tracks, beams, bars, and vault tables using club-approved, non-abrasive disinfecting solutions.                                                                                                                    

*Sweep, dust-mop and damp-mop hardwood or specialized spring floor surfaces to manage chalk buildup and dust.

*Restrooms-scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors. *Empty and sanitize trash receptacles *Restock soap, paper towels and toilet paper.

*Lobby/Viewing area-Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard surface flooring in waiting area and entryways.  *Wipe down spectator seating,    tables, doors, and glass windows.  

*Waste Management-*Empty all trash and recycling bins throughout the gym, offices, and common areas.

*Report any facility maintenance issues, equipment damage, or safety hazards immediately to management. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

*Previous cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred (experience in a fitness, sports, or childcare facility is a strong plus)                                     *Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly.  The role involves active physical movement.                                                      *Reliability-punctual, trustworthy, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.                                                                                      *Cleared background check (Company paid)
