Job Summary:Â
Assembles pipes, cleans water supply, handles tools, and cleans job sites. Assists in smaller jobs and handles smaller jobs on their own.Â

Duties/Responsibilities:Â
- Locate and identify leaksÂ
- Repair or replace pipes and partsÂ
- Determine the correct tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete jobÂ
- Assist with preparing cost estimates for clientsÂ
- Help Plumber to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codesÂ
- Clean job site after work is completedÂ
- Answer client queriesÂ
- Follows Plumber’s instructionsÂ
- Regular, prompt, on-site attendance essential for physically installing equipmentÂ
- Performs other duties as assigned.Â
Â
Required Skills/Abilities:Â Â
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Â
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trades.Â
- Willingness to learn on the job, go through training, and earn certification as a PlumberÂ
- Excellent problem-solving skills.Â
- Proficiency in basic math and conversion of measurements.Â
Â
Education and Experience:Â
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Â
- At least two years
related experience required. Â
- Valid Driver’s LicenseÂ
- Valid Plumber Trainee LicenseÂ
Â
Physical Requirements:Â Â
- Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting, and carrying.Â
- Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic chemicals, indoors and outdoorsÂ
- Exposure to extreme temperaturesÂ
- Must be able to lift
up
to 100 pounds at times. Â
