Job DetailsJob Location: Werk Brau Co Inc - Findlay, OH 45840Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 HourlyJob Category: EngineeringThe CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting high-precision programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical mills, CNC lathes and Horizontals. This role bridges the gap between engineering designs and the shop floor, ensuring parts are produced efficiently and according to strict quality standards. Core Responsibilities: Mastercam Programming: Create and refine complex 2D and 3D toolpaths using Mastercam for both milling and turning operations. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and "prove out" new programs on the machine to ensure accuracy, minimize tool wear and machine efficiency. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve tool life through better programming strategies or tool selection. Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to determine the best machining sequence. Tooling & Fixturing: Research and test work holding solutions as needed for day-to-day machining. Work with tooling suppliers to ensure best possible quality and tooling cost. Training: Once programming and tooling are established, train operators to execute programs with the proper feeds and speeds set up to maximize tool life and minimize cycle times. Follow Up: Respond to “HELP DESK” tickets as they come in. Effective communication in verbal and written communication. Ability to work on-site and within scheduled hours. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
