Job Title: Donor Care Technician I - Phlebotomist
Pay:Â $20.10 per hourÂ
Start Date:Â October 12th 2026
Schedule:Â Tuesday - Friday, Full-Time. Must be available to be scheduled between 3am and 10pm. Schedule is based on business needs and is sent three weeks in advance.Â
Travel: Throughout Northern Arizona, with an average of 1–5 overnight trips per month as needed. Vitalant covers all meals and hotel accommodations, and a company vehicle is provided for travel.
Training: Phlebotomy training will take place in Tempe during your first 90 days of employment. Training is Monday–Friday, in between the hours of 7:00 AM–4 PM. You will use your own vehicle to commute to Tempe, and we will provide mileage reimbursement.
No prior experience is required. Paid training is provided.Â

As an entry level phlebotomist on our Blood Collections Team, you'll travel to regional blood drives and work directly with donors to collect blood and blood products that save lives. No previous blood collection experience is required. In this hands-on position, you'll guide donors through the donation process while collecting the blood and blood products that hospitals rely on every day. Â

High School graduate or GED
Valid in–state driver's license and suitable driving record
Must have personal reliable transportation
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Basic working knowledge of Windows operating system, keyboard usage and PC.
Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures and instructions.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, varied schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
Ability to travel, as required.
