Our Medical-Surgical Unit delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse population, including vascular, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, chemotherapy, and GIP hospice patients. This dynamic unit provides exposure to a wide range of medical conditions and treatments, offering staff the opportunity to develop broad clinical skills while working collaboratively to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
How you'll contribute
A Multiskilled Technician who excels in this role:
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care activities as delegated, including:Â
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Obtaining blood glucose measurements
- Tracking and documenting patient intake and output
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:Â
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Feeding and meal assistance
- Observe and report changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing team promptly.

Administrative & Support Duties
- Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked patient rooms and care areas.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties in support of nursing station operations.
- Accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional requirements include:
- Current BLS certification requiredÂ
- Handle with Care preferred
- Requires Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment; rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems; effective English communication (read/write/speak); ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
