Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Actuarial Associate II to join our team. About the RoleÂ
- Utilizes and verifies data provided by Information Technology to prepare ratemaking, reserving, and modeling analysis.
- Develops data and reports for special projects.
- Maintains, enhances, and develops templates used for ratemaking, reserving, and modeling.
- Maintains clear and concise documentation of ratemaking, reserving, and modeling methods and activities.
- Provides analysis of ratemaking, reserving, modeling, and special projects.
- Passes one CAS exam per year unless Associateship has already been achieved.Â

What it Will Take
- Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, or related field and 2 years of actuarial work experience (OR) 5 years of actuarial work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Database.
- Completion of at least four actuarial exams.
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently.
- 5+ years of experience in property/casualty insurance highly desirableÂ
