Systems Administrator – Level II

About the role
Kaimetrix is seeking a System Administrator – Level II to support the operation and maintenance of enterprise IT systems in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role ensures the reliable performance, security, and availability of computer systems, servers, and network resources while enabling users to access required services and capabilities efficiently.

What you'll do

• Perform server and network management to support the operation and upkeep of enterprise systems
• Manage user accounts and enforce access controls to ensure appropriate system access
• Implement and monitor security management policies to maintain system integrity and compliance
• Conduct regular backup and recovery operations to ensure data protection and system continuity
• Support the availability and reliability of systems, ensuring users can access required resources
• Assist in maintaining secure and stable system operations across supported infrastructure

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in system administration or related IT roles
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education may be substituted for experience as applicable

Certifications:

• Baseline certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent aligned to DoD requirements

Clearance:

• Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
