MacMore is seeking to fill a full-time Concierge Service Representative position for a pending contract award with the Department of Defense Health Agency.

Responsibilities: 
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff and proactively offer assistance.
  • Provide directions to clinics, wards, offices, and nearby medical-center facilities.
  • Escort guests or arrange patient transportation through the dispatcher.
  • Assist patients entering or exiting vehicles, taxis, and shuttle buses.
  • Open doors and report malfunctioning accessible doors.
  • Collect and return wheelchairs, crutches, and walkers at shift changes.
  • Monitor compliance with visitor identification requirements and report violations.
  • Respond to hospital emergency codes and participate in emergency exercises.
  • Assist with patient evacuation during mass-casualty or emergency events.
  • Provide aid within BLS training limitations and promptly notify the supervisor.
  • Distribute and collect patient-satisfaction surveys.
  • Conduct prescribed entrance screening, including appointment and COVID-19 symptom or exposure questions.
  • Report safety, security, maintenance, and service issues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least one year of hospitality-service experience or equivalent work.
  • Fluent English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.
  • Courteous, patient, attentive, adaptable, and able to handle difficult situations positively.
  • Knowledge of general medical ethics.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
