Essnova Solutions is seeking an Expert Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist to support NGA PEO-GG by transforming complex datasets into intuitive, actionable, and visually compelling analytical products.
This position will bridge technical data and strategic decision-making by developing dashboards, analytical reports, visual narratives, and actionable insights for NGA stakeholders and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, structure, and integrate disparate datasets.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of data used in analytical products.
- Strategize, design, and develop interactive dashboards and analytical reports.
- Use business intelligence platforms such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Query, join, and structure complex datasets using SQL.
- Develop compelling visual narratives using charts, graphs, maps, infographics, and related techniques.
- Translate complex data into understandable findings for non-technical audiences.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and other significant findings.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable business insights.
- Collaborate directly with NGA PEO-GG leadership and technical teams.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and define relevant KPIs.
- Present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure visual analytics products align with strategic objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated experience creating insightful, visually compelling dashboards and analytical reports communicating complex information to multiple audiences.
- Demonstrated expert proficiency with one or more leading BI/data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and structuring complex datasets.
- Experience cleaning and transforming raw data for analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to identify significant trends, patterns, and correlations and convert findings into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated communication skills, including experience working directly with stakeholders and leadership to gather requirements, define KPIs, and present recommendations.
- Current Top Secret clearance and eligibility for favorable NGA adjudication for SCI access.
- Master's degree from an accredited university.
- Specialized experience with NGA and/or another IC agency's missions and communications policies.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles and their utilization in Data Visualization and Analytics.
- Knowledge of PEO-GG systems.
Location: NGA Washington / Fort Belvoir, VA area
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite; minimally available Government-approved telework.
Travel: Infrequent CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.
