Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. An extension of the other divisions, the Super Vac Foundry offers non-ferrous metal casting services. The Foundry casts many of the other divisions' components, as well as a myriad of aluminum and brass parts for outside companies, using sand casting, permanent mold and shell molding applications.

We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Foundry General Labor for our Foundry division. If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply.

Essential Functions:

• Pour liquid metal from pot to fill mold
• Keep pit under conveyor clear of sand
• Learn and apply valuable skills, and gain useful knowledge
• Able to take initiative and problem solve
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• General labor experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to follow directions and pay attention to detail
• Able to contribute in a fast paced/team atmosphere
• Able to meet deadlines
• Able to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and criminal background check
• Must be able to lift 70+ pounds
• Must be able to climb ladders

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation: $18 - $20/hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
