S.W. Collins Company is looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our Houlton team. The Dispatcher plays a key role in keeping our delivery operation running smoothly by coordinating drivers, deliveries, customers, and materials.

This is a fast-paced position where communication, organization, and problem-solving are essential. If you enjoy keeping things moving, working with people, and taking pride in getting the details right, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules and assign deliveries to drivers.
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to provide schedules, updates, and changes.
  • Work closely with sales, yard, warehouse, and management teams to coordinate deliveries.
  • Schedule customer deliveries based on customer needs, product availability, and delivery capacity.
  • Communicate professionally with contractors, homeowners, drivers, and coworkers.
  • Monitor delivery progress and adjust schedules when delays or unexpected situations occur.
  • Help ensure materials are properly staged and ready for delivery.
  • Provide accurate delivery information and instructions to drivers.
  • Assist with resolving delivery issues and customer concerns.
  • Maintain accurate delivery schedules, records, and documentation.
  • Help prioritize deliveries based on customer needs and operational requirements.
  • Promote safe and efficient delivery practices.
  • Provide the legendary customer service our customers have come to expect from S.W. Collins.
