The Housekeeping Supervisor is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the condominium property. This individual will perform daily housekeeping duties throughout the building and common areas while providing direction and assistance to housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the condominium property.
- Clean and maintain building common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, resident lounges, fitness areas, and other amenities.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, wipe down, and sanitize designated areas as needed.
- Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, walls, baseboards, furniture, and other surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain proper disposal of waste.
- Maintain cleanliness of pool areas, pool restrooms, and other recreational areas as assigned.
- Assist with cleaning and preparing common areas for resident functions, meetings, and special events.
- Perform deep cleaning and special cleaning projects throughout the property as needed.
- Work alongside housekeeping staff and assist with daily cleaning assignments to ensure all areas are properly maintained.
- Help coordinate daily housekeeping tasks and provide direction to staff when necessary.
- Inspect common areas throughout the day and address cleaning needs promptly.
- Ensure cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens are properly stocked, organized, and maintained.
- Notify management when supplies or equipment need to be replaced or replenished.
- Properly use and maintain vacuums, floor machines, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and using cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, leaks, damages, safety hazards, or other building concerns to management promptly.
- Respond professionally to resident requests or concerns related to housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Assist with training new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning procedures and condominium standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
- Perform other housekeeping and cleaning-related duties as assigned by management.
