Key Result:

  • Responsible for procurement of various materials for company projects. Maintains inventory balance and controls. Supports preventive maintenance program and proactively looks for ways to purchase best value for company needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
  • Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
  • Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
  • Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times. Must stay focused on maintaining a safe work environment and promote safe work practices throughout the organization.
  • Oversee component receiving, shipping and transfers.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials between the component warehouse and the production facilities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and implement procedures and systems to ensure material accuracy within 99% of records.
  • Provide staff development training.
  • Determine space requirements for component storage.
  • Ensure the inspection of material handling equipment for defects and ensure repairs are completed.
  • Support Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager in review of Loader, Forklift and Grinder inspection sheets Evaluating for errors and resolve operator communications and complaints.
  • Maintain accuracy of component trailer status.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of assigned warehouse.
  • Support Plant Supervisor in hands on preventive maintenance.
  • Perform light maintenance when required.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
