Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a new challenge? Join our team in Fort Smith. We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders and perform preventative and general maintenance across our plant on 2nd shift. This role is critical in keeping our machinery and equipment running smoothly to ensure maximum productivity.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform general maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct electrical and other general maintenance of building and grounds
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Scheduler to respond to work orders and provide dispositions
  • Troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues quickly

 

Qualifications

 

  • 2-5 years of related experience in maintenance
  • Ability to frequently and variably lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
  • Willingness to work different shifts and overtime as needed
  • Experience in performing and managing preventative maintenance programs

 

Education
