40Summary:
The Manager of Clinical Risk oversees the review and analysis of reported clinical events to ensure patient safety, risk mitigation, and compliances with healthcare regulations. This role supports the development of risk strategies, provides consultation on safety events, and contributes to staff education and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
5 years’ minimum experience in a healthcare setting required.
3 years’ experience in healthcare risk management, accreditation or patient safety, including project management or leadership experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
Must be proficient in incident management software.Â
Must have experience in managing complex projects.
Must have strong analytical skills, and ability to facilitate risk investigations.
