Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and order picking of products, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
- Implement and sustain processes to meet warehouse targets and optimize the supply chain.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and warehouse team to improve performance and effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, maintaining records and reporting.
- Assist in implementing strategies to enhance warehouse layout and organization.
- Support the efficient flow of goods, from origin to consumption, meeting business requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in training and guiding warehouse staff on best practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain role, with a focus on inventory management.
- 1 year of forklift experience required
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and order picking processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, with a valid driver's license.
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Office suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
- A positive, solution-oriented mindset, with a desire to contribute to a high-performing team.
Physical Requirements
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and medical examinations screenings.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, maintain balance while performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively through speaking and listening.
- Flexibility to frequently bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull while performing repetitive tasks.
