Job Summary: We are seeking a TIG Welder to join our production team. This position is responsible for performing TIG welding operations to assemble stainless steel components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality parts production, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The TIG Welder plays a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while contributing to our culture of teamwork and innovation. Schedule: Weekend Night Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Primary Job Responsibilities Include: Assist with setup and operation of TIG welding machines and tools Perform TIG welds following supervisor instructions, blueprints, or work orders Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety rules and manufacturing procedures Support process improvements and product quality initiatives Perform additional work-related duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience in manufacturing or metalworking environment Completion of a welding certification or technical school program Basic understanding of TIG welding, metal fabrication, or blueprint reading Physical Demands: Almost continual standing or walking Occasional kneeling, bending, and manual dexterity with hands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Moderate visual focus required for weld accuracy and safety monitoring Working Conditions: Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changes Exposure to manufacturing noise and welding equipment RSI Group (SmartCap) is an equal opportunity employer, with highly competitive pay and benefits, training and development opportunities, and a welcoming and innovative culture.
