About the Role:
The CNA/Transportation role is a multifaceted position that integrates patient care, logistical support, and supply management within a healthcare setting. The primary objective is to provide compassionate and efficient assistance to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant, ensuring their comfort and safety during transportation within the facility.Â
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the state of Texas.
- Valid Driver's License (Good Driving Record)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate transportation equipment safely within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with mobility and transportation needs within the healthcare facility, ensuring their safety and comfort during transfers.
- Perform routine patient care tasks under the supervision of nursing staff, including hygiene assistance, vital signs monitoring, and basic patient support.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of transportation equipment to comply with health and safety standards.
