Facilities Support

Description

Responsibility 

• Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices (walls, sidewalk etc.), cleaning facilities, and managing maintenance repair. 
• Perform basic repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances.  
• Detect and report the need of major maintenance repair. 
• Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure, lighting, or any other breakdowns. 
• Respond to maintenance request in a timely and professional manner. 
• Repair plumbing and electrical. 
• Undertake lighting installation, replace ceiling tiles and carpeting as needed.
• Floor maintenance includes but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all areas.
• Pull trash and take it to large dumpsters 
• Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks. 
• Set up and tear down for events.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Other Skills Required

• Strong character and Christian testimony. 
• Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.

 Experience

• Experience managing mid to large facilities.
• School or church facility management a plus 
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and stand or walk for 8-hour workday.
