Minimum qualifications and skillset:
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Arizona**
- Current Veterinary Technician Certification in the state of Arizona
- Confident, reliable, and proactive in fast-paced clinical settings
- Passionate about delivering high-quality medicine and compassionate service
- Tech-savvy with excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Skilled in patient care, client education, and advanced technical tasks such as:
- Anesthesia induction and maintenance
- Dental prophy, radiographs, and charting
- Venipuncture and IV Catheter placement
- Digital radiography positioning and technique

El Dorado Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited practice with 3 doctors and 3 credentialed technicians caring for dogs and cats. The 4,900-square-foot freestanding hospital features an updated open floor plan, 3 exam rooms, digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. The team handles a busy appointment schedule and 2–4 procedures per day, including spay/neuter, cystotomy, splenectomy, tumor removal, and occasional amputation. Team members are expected to take initiative, work efficiently, and support one another, with strong emphasis on cat-friendly handling. Fountain Hills offers beautiful Sonoran Desert scenery, the iconic town fountain, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community near the McDowell Mountains.
