We are looking for a Batching Lead to join our first shift team in Four Oaks, NC. The Batching Lead is responsible for supervising and training all shift batching personnel in the day to day operations for batching. You shall also be assigned to perform one of the batching jobs: partial bags, full bags or pre-mix operator while ensuring House-Autry’s quality standards are met accordingly.
Required work hours Monday – Thursday 7a – 5:30p
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for obtaining & understanding the current Production Schedule from the Production Manager
- Brief and discuss the day’s schedule with the batching team and keep employees up to date on any changes to the schedule
- Perform all duties as one of the batching operators.
- Responsible for the Housekeeping of the assigned work area.
- Ensure compliance with House-Autry quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Comply with Federal and State Safety Regulations and House-Autry policies.
- The employee is required to comply with GMP standards.
- The employee is required to follow all safety rules & regulations.Â
- Ensure schedules and recordkeeping are followed.Â
- Training required includes: GMPs, Allergen Control Program, Metal Detector (CCP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP’s).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing experience in Food Service Industry preferred.Â
- Proven ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedure and policies and safety rules.Â
- Basic computer skills.
- Proven ability to apply mathematical concepts and excellent problem-solving skills.Â
- Proven ability to work independently with little supervision.Â
- Proven ability to manage and complete tasks on time.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Pay attention to details.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
