Job Description:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of our sourcing strategy for TJX products designed in-house by our Product Design team. The responsibilities may include managing a sourcing specialist, procure sustainable materials with an eye on quality, newness and innovation, negotiating prices, , and build strong internal and external relationships.Â
 This role collaborates with Product Development, Merchants, GS&P, Direct Vendors, Buying Agents, Global Buying Offices, Sustainability Team, and Legal.Â

- Delivers Value on Time by finding or creating leverage, efficiencies and opportunities while identifying and mitigating risks 
- Leverages and continually develops relevant Sourcing knowledgeÂ
- Production, Retail Math, Logistics TimingÂ
- International Commerce Rules/Regulations, Specialized Country Knowledge, Finance, Macro Economics, Sustainability Regulations and Tracking and moreÂ
- Leads negotiations to achieve the best possible product mix at the target profit marginsÂ
- Creates and executes negotiations strategyÂ
- Is the central point of communication for all Stakeholders (Agents/Vendors, Merchants, Product Team, etc) throughout the negotiations processÂ
- Maintains Costing dataset and related reporting, ensures accuracy and timelinessÂ
- Find and evaluate potential suppliers based on key criteria, including but not limited to capabilities, capacity, pricing/value, financial health and other considerationsÂ
- Monitor supplier performance, capacity and healthÂ
- Partner with Business Unit to create grow/maintain/shrink strategy based on the above and on business needs; executes strategy, monitors results, adjusts course as needed
- Drives the business by transforming data and research into strategy and action; data and research may include: Product, Programs and Customer Needs , Business Intelligence , Inputs, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Order HistoryÂ
 Who We Are Looking For: You. Â
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Merchandising, Finance or relevant experienceÂ
- Proficient with Microsoft office suiteÂ
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel: pivot tables, v-lookups, formulasÂ
- Strong math and analytical skillsÂ
- Able to unify and clearly present ideas to individuals and groupsÂ
- Collaborative; works well in a team environment; strong communication skillsÂ
- Meets deadlines; responds appropriately in a timely mannerÂ
- Excellent multi-tasker, able to manage multiple projects/ programs simultaneouslyÂ

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
