Patriot Foundry is on the hunt for an up-and-coming individual looking to become a manufacturing leader and a key member of our team in Franklin, NH. We value the drive to take on responsibility, learn, and grow into a successful Plant Manager rather than years of experience. The chosen candidate will be trained in and responsible for all onsite operations including planning, production, purchasing, and product delivery.

The position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

Day in the Life:

As a Plant Manager, your primary responsibilities will entail:

Developing production schedules based on due dates, material availability, staffing, and equipment constraints
Overseeing manufacturing operations including purchasing, production runs, external operations, and shipping
Managing staff including training, providing support, and promoting a positive work culture
Ensure equipment is kept in working order and arrange for regular cycles of preventative maintenance
Interacting with production and engineering staff to ensure quality issues are resolved and documented
Maintaining a compliant work environment in accordance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements
Completing documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements including KPIs, inspection logs, nonconformances, and corrective actions

Requirements

Requirements:

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated Reliability, Initiative, Adaptability and Keen Attention to Detail.
Understanding of metallurgy basics and metalworking principles
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents
Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
U.S. citizenship or documented residency
Be 18+ years old

Preferences:

Foundry experience with knowledge of casting processes, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Understanding of OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, and environmental compliance
Experience in executing Quality Management Systems like ISO 9001
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory Management
Experience in the use or maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment
