Make a Difference Every Day Amego Inc. is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Children’s Division as a Floating RN, providing nursing support across both our school program and residential campus in Franklin, Massachusetts. This is a unique opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with children and adolescents and thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment. The Floating RN will play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of the children we serve while partnering closely with educators, residential staff, families, and clinical professionals. What You’ll Do Provide nursing care and health support to children and adolescents across the school and residential settings. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols. Assess and respond to illnesses, injuries, and changes in health status. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation. Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, educators, residential staff, and members of the clinical team. Support individualized healthcare plans and ensure students’ medical needs are appropriately addressed throughout the day. Provide health education and guidance to staff as appropriate. Respond calmly and effectively to urgent and emergent medical situations. Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare, school, residential, and regulatory requirements. Float between programs based on the needs of the Children’s Division, providing flexibility and continuity of nursing coverage. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities, or in a school, residential, pediatric, or community-based setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while also being an active member of a multidisciplinary team. Calm, patient, dependable, and adaptable approach. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care. Current CPR/BLS certification, or willingness to obtain as required.
