About the Role:
Aviso, LLC is looking for a sharp and driven Senior Accountant with a focus on Manufacturing & Cost to join our team in Fremont, CA. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to manufacturing operations
- Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
- Partner with operations and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency
- Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and controls
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on manufacturing and cost accounting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Solid understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders
