Responsibilities
The Patient Observer remains in close physical proximity and visual contact with assigned patient(s) whose behavior puts them at risk to harm themselves or others, including if they decide to leave against medical advice.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Currently enrolled in or previously completed healthcare coursework preferred
Experience
3 months of experience in a healthcare environment preferred
Licenses and Certifications
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
