My Gym Frisco is looking for our next Assistant Director in Training. This isn't a desk job, and it's definitely not your typical childcare position.

We're looking for someone who can bring the FUN and eventually help run the place.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll start by learning My Gym from the ground up and gradually take on more leadership and operational responsibility as your training progresses.

You'll learn how to:

• Teach high-energy fitness, gymnastics, and play-based classes for children ages 6 weeks–10 years
• Host birthday parties, Camps, Parents' Night Out, and special events
• Build relationships with families and create an experience they want to come back to every week
• Turn interested families into happy My Gym members
• Lead shifts and help keep the gym running smoothly
• Train, encourage, and eventually help coach other team members
• Help manage family communication and customer service
• Support enrollment, retention, and overall gym growth
• Keep our facility safe, clean, organized, and ready for fun

As you grow, so does your level of ownership.

The Career Path: Training → Shift Leadership → Assistant Director → Future Leadership Opportunities

We're big believers in promoting from within. For the right person, long-term opportunities could include increased management responsibility, co-directorship, and more.

We're looking for someone with the personality, work ethic, leadership potential, and willingness to learn.

Starting pay is $14–$17/hour based on experience and qualifications.

But your base hourly rate isn't the only earning opportunity.

Team members may also earn:

• Tips from birthday parties
• Sales commissions
• Performance and gym-growth bonuses

And the Assistant Director Position has Some Pretty Great Perks

• Cell phone stipend
• Health insurance stipend
• Paid time off
• Free My Gym t-shirts for uniforms
• Paid professional development and training opportunities
• Opportunities for paid travel to conferences and trainings
• A clear path toward additional leadership roles
• A workplace where being energetic, creative, outgoing, and a little silly is actually part of your job

You Might Be Our Person If...

• Kids naturally gravitate toward you
• You're comfortable being loud, energetic, goofy, and engaging
• You're the person who notices what needs to be done and does it
• You enjoy leading people but can also take direction and feedback
• You're confident talking with adults AND children
• Sales doesn't scare you because you genuinely enjoy helping people find what they need
• You're dependable and understand that your team is counting on you
• You like being busy and can switch gears quickly
• You want more than "just a job" and are interested in developing professionally

Experience working with children is strongly preferred, and previous leadership, management, teaching, coaching, recreation, hospitality, sales, or customer-service experience is a plus.

The Physical Stuff

My Gym is an active environment. You'll spend plenty of time on your feet and should be comfortable bending, reaching, spotting children, moving equipment, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.

About My Gym

My Gym Children's Fitness Center has hundreds of locations worldwide and provides fitness, gymnastics, play, Camps, birthday parties, and special events for children from infancy through age 10.

But My Gym Frisco is more than a children's fitness center.

We want this to be a place where kids can't wait to come, families feel known, and our team genuinely enjoys coming to work.

If you're looking for a traditional 9-to-5 office job, this probably isn't it.

If you're looking for a place where you can teach, perform, lead, sell, learn, laugh, grow a business, and make an impact, we'd really like to meet you.
