The Reconstruction Project Manager holds a vital position in overseeing the production of both single-family and multi-family reconstruction projects aimed at restoring homes for individuals impacted by disasters and aiding their recovery. ***We are seeking candidates who live locally and can commute to Fairfax County daily. We provide a base salary ranging from $70,000 to $75,000, along with monthly bonuses based on completed projects. Total compensation can range from $70,000 to $115,000 per year, including monthly bonuses. ***

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and supervise various construction projects from start to finish.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and insurance adjusters.
  • Keep track of project budgets and timelines while exploring strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Hold meetings with subcontractors to review schedules, necessary permits, and to set clear expectations.
  • Perform regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to building codes and safety standards.
  • Review all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress updates.
  • Identify and address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, proactively implementing solutions to keep projects on schedule. 



Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction projects.
  • Proven history of overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion. In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices related to remodeling and home building.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Expertise in project management software and related tools.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel to job sites regularly.
