ResponsibilitiesÂ
As a Childcare Van Driver, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:
- Assist children into and out of the van; ensuring seat belts are fastened and child safety seats are in place and good operating condition.
- Follow established routes, schedules, and procedures ensuring the safety of children at all times.Â
- Ensure the children are picked up and dropped off with their safety as a primary focus.
- Ensure that children are not left unsupervised within or outside of the vehicle.
- Ensure Celebree vehicle policies and federal, state, and local ordinances regulating road safety are met.
- Confirm all children are accounted for at all times by performing name-to-face checks.Â
- Interact with children in a friendly and supportive manner using children’s names with appropriate tone of voice.
- Present a positive and professional image at all times.   Â
Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- Valid driver's licenseÂ
- First Aid & CPR certifiedÂ
- Teacher qualification preferredÂ
