We are housed in a brand-new outpatient gym where our rehab team is committed to community outreach including hosting a monthly stroke support group. We offer one-on-one patient interactions, a strong team culture, rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth and development.  We balance new techniques and specialties including dry needling, certified hand therapy, and FEES, with a personalized, community-focused approach to healthcare.

 

How you will contribute

A Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) who excels in this role:

  • Implement treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. 

  • Seeks consultation as necessary.

  • Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. 

  • Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.

  • Documents services provided and patient response/progress.

  • Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.

  • Assists with patient discharge planning.

  • Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs

What we are looking for

  • Associates Degree in program of discipline 
  • Current VA LPTA license.
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire.

 

 Hourly range: $23.98- $32.37
