Since opening in 1959, we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Today, we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.

How you'll contribute

As a Patient Sitter joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This includes:

Observing the patient to maintain a safe environment
Ensuring that they always have a continuous and unobstructed view of the patient
Accompanying the patient for any test or procedures done off the unit
Preventing patient from pulling out lines/tubes
Assisting with feeding and restroom use
Reading to patient, playing board games, turning on television, and engaging in general conversation

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent working experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
