About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team in Garfield Heights, OH. This is a full-time position supporting students through push-in/pull-out services as well as self-contained Autism (AU) classrooms. The Special Education Teacher will develop individualized instructional strategies, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide push-in and pull-out special education services based on student needs.
Provide instruction and support in self-contained AU classrooms.
Develop and implement individualized instructional and behavioral strategies.
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, communication, and social goals.
Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Special Education / Intervention Specialist License (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Experience working with students with disabilities; AU/Autism experience preferred.
Experience with IEP development and implementation.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
