Job Title: Special Education Teacher – Push-In / Pull-Out & Self-Contained AU Classrooms

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team in Garfield Heights, OH. This is a full-time position supporting students through push-in/pull-out services as well as self-contained Autism (AU) classrooms. The Special Education Teacher will develop individualized instructional strategies, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide push-in and pull-out special education services based on student needs.
  • Provide instruction and support in self-contained AU classrooms.
  • Develop and implement individualized instructional and behavioral strategies.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, communication, and social goals.
  • Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Special Education / Intervention Specialist License (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities; AU/Autism experience preferred.
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
