Job Summary: GHIA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-mechanical Assembler to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical equipment and subassemblies with precision and adherence to strict quality and safety standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a good eye for detail, working with both mechanical and electronic components to build our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and work procedures.
- Assemble, wire, and install various sub-assemblies into machines
- Perform plumbing and wiring interconnects between sub-assemblies
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools to complete assemblies.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and work with engineering teams to implement machine improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong focus on quality control and a dedication to following safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good color vision is often required for wire identification.
- Must be dependable, on time and here every day to the best of your ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an electro-mechanical assembler or in a related field.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $23-$30 per hour depending on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health and life insurance, HSA account, 401K match, 2 weeks paid vacation and 10 paid holidays per year.
- We only run a daytime shift Mon-Fri from 8am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of overtime depending on workload.
