The Opportunity
UHP is seeking a Housekeeper – Hospitality Specialist to help keep our campus clean, organized, welcoming, and ready for students, staff, and guests.
This is a hands-on housekeeping role focused on cleaning rooms and common areas, managing laundry and linens, restocking supplies, and preparing spaces for students and guests.
What You’ll Do
Clean student quarters, guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other campus spaces
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, disinfect, and perform detailed cleaning
Change linens and prepare beds
Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry
Restock guest amenities and housekeeping supplies
Prepare rooms and spaces for student and guest arrivals
Complete deep-cleaning and seasonal cleaning projects
Follow UHP Hospitality and safety standards
Report maintenance or equipment concerns as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred
Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working independently
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Comfortable performing physically active work throughout the day
Reliable transportation to UHP’s campus in Gentry
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and carry cleaning supplies or laundry
Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule
Flexibility required, including occasional weekends based on campus needs
