Field Operations Supervisor

Demolition Magicians is a growing demolition contractor serving Central Kentucky. We're looking for an experienced Field Operations Supervisor to oversee active job sites, keep crews on schedule, and make sure every project runs safely and efficiently from start to finish.
About the Role
As Field Operations Supervisor, you'll be the eyes and ears of our projects in the field — running multiple jobs at once, keeping crews aligned with the plan, and making sure work gets done right, safely, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who's comfortable managing several active sites at the same time and can be trusted to make good calls in the field.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and coordinate multiple active demolition job sites simultaneously (typically 3–5 at a time)
- Read and interpret project plans, and translate direction from the office into clear instructions for crews on site
- Organize and delegate daily tasks across crews to keep each job moving
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on job progress, crew activity, and site conditions
- Communicate regularly with the office and clients on job status and any issues that come up
- Take initiative to identify and solve problems in the field before they become delays
- Enforce job site safety practices and standards across all active projects
- Use basic technology tools (phone/tablet apps, email, photos/reporting software) to document and communicate from the field
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Experience as a site superintendent
- Experience in demolition
- Comfortable and capable running 3–5 job sites at one time
- OSHA 10 certification
- Strong communication skills — with crews, clients, and the office
- Strong organizational and delegation abilities
- Good record-keeping and reporting habits
- Ability to read and understand project plans and translate direction into action
- Self-starter with good initiative and sound field judgment
- Comfortable with basic modern technology (smartphone apps, digital reporting, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between sites
Preferred (a plus, not required):
- OSHA 30 certification
- General construction experience in addition to demolition
