Job Summary:

The Field Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of products/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime. Develops methods and guidelines to facilitate efficient service delivery.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform service and warranty work in the field.
  • Manage standard work for daily proficiency and effectiveness.
  • Inspect Installation.
  • Overall responsibility for quality and cost effective installations.
  • Measure projects, process layouts, prepare orders and give information to Customer Service Representatives, Installers, Sales, and appropriate personnel.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and installers.
  • Build relationships in field.
  • Achieve monthly commitments in expense control.
  • Participate in management staff meetings to communicate and receive information.
  • Manage delivery schedule in coordination with general contractor to deliver product to jobsites as needed.
  • Cover, assist, and train in other areas.
  • Support efforts by all members of the Leedo Team to continuously improve departmental, location, and company performance.
  • Drive to customer sites to manage the installation from install to completion.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma with certificate from a technical or trade school related to the building materials industry, education beyond high school a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of field experience i.e., cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery scheduling, and managing subcontractors.
  • Cabinetry and Multifamily experience highly preferred, but not required.
  • Driving is a requirement for this position:
    •   A valid driver's license is required.
    •   Satisfactory completion of motor vehicle report.
