- Develops and maintains nutritionally balanced menus for members.
- Provides group and individual services related to holistic nutrition as assigned.
- Provides community and office-based nutrition skills and education for members and/or at events.
- Utilizes Motivational Interviewing techniques to guide members toward healthy behavior changes that are right for them.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of services provided in collaboration with the primary care providers and nursing staff.
- Creates improved techniques and methods of implementation consistent with recovery principles.
- Drives initiatives that contribute to long-term operational and clinical excellence of the department.
- Participates in the development of new services as needed; participates in research studies as assigned.
QualificationsÂ
- Requires a Bachelors and a minimum of one year experience related to nutrition.
- Experience in behavioral health preferred.
- Current and valid certification in CPR/First Aid
- Current certification or the ability to be certified as a ServSafe Food Service Manager through the National Restaurant Association.
- Nutrition credential NDTR (Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Registered) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must have reliable transportation to transport members
- Valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage
- TB Test clearance required at the time of hire.
