This position operates a forklift to support production operations, maintain proper material flow, stage product for shipment, and ensure materials are stored and handled according to company safety and quality standards.    The Forklift 602 Driver works closely with machine operators, production employees, warehouse personnel, and supervisors to ensure converting operations run efficiently and without unnecessary interruptions.    Essential Job Functions:    Safely and efficiently operate forklifts after successful completion of all required certification and testing, in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and manufacturer guidelines.  Perform and document required pre-operation forklift inspections and immediately report mechanical, maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns to the appropriate supervisor.  Transport corrugated sheets, finished cartons, bundles, pallets, raw materials, and other products between converting equipment, production, staging, warehouse, and shipping areas.  Supply converting machines with the appropriate materials as needed to maintain continuous and efficient production.  Remove finished product from converting equipment and accurately transport and stage it in designated warehouse, production, or shipping locations.  Pull and stage orders accurately for warehouse releases and shipments.  Read and interpret loading summaries, manifest sheets, job information, and shipping documentation to ensure accurate product distribution and shipment.  Utilize RF scanning systems to identify, track, verify, and accurately move products and inventory.  Verify product identification, job numbers, quantities, pallet information, and other required details before moving, staging, or loading materials.  Palletize products for shipment as required, ensuring pallets meet customer-specific requirements and company quality standards.  Properly stack, organize, and store finished products and materials to maintain product integrity, prevent damage, and maximize available storage space.  Safely manage various product and unit configurations using appropriate load-handling techniques to prevent product damage during handling, transportation, and storage.  Load trailers safely and efficiently to ensure product stability, proper distribution, and damage-free delivery, using appropriate load securement methods when required.  Load and unload products from trailers as directed while following all applicable safety procedures.  Identify and report high-risk products, unstable loads, damaged materials, or other potential shipping and handling concerns to the Superintendent or Shipping & Receiving Manager.  Communicate load discrepancies, product shortages, damaged materials, scanning issues, or other shipping and warehouse concerns to Team Leads or the Warehouse Manager for prompt resolution.  Complete all required documentation accurately, including pallet verification, shipment paperwork, inventory records, and other material movement documentation.  Maintain accurate material movement, inventory, and shipment information as required.  Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock verification, product identification, and inventory accuracy.  Handle all materials in accordance with company quality assurance standards and customer-specific requirements.  Operate forklifts at safe speeds and maintain constant awareness of pedestrians, production equipment, vehicles, and surrounding operations.  Use proper lifting, stacking, transporting, and load-handling techniques.  Maintain clear, organized, and safe aisles, staging areas, warehouse locations, and production workspaces.  Assist production personnel with material handling requirements, job changes, machine operations, and production support activities.  Remove scrap, waste, and production materials from designated areas as required.  Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures when dealing with defective, unsafe, or otherwise hazardous equipment, as trained and authorized.  Follow production schedules, work instructions, quality requirements, shipping procedures, and supervisor direction.  Maintain the forklift, equipment, and surrounding work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.  Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, equipment problems, inventory discrepancies, or other operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.  Follow all company safety, quality, housekeeping, attendance, and work rules at all times.  Perform other material-handling, warehouse, production-support, and related duties as assigned by management.    Other Functions:  Support continuous improvement efforts by following best practices and providing feedback on processes.  Foster a collaborative learning environment that promotes skill development and team success.  Assist in training and mentoring team members by sharing knowledge of processes, procedures, and best practices.  Support the training and onboarding of new and existing employees by effectively communicating and demonstrating company processes and procedures.  Ability to define problems, collect data/facts (observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources) and draw reasonable conclusions  Ability to deal with various situations QualificationsQualifications:    Basic Qualifications:  Prior work experience in a manufacturing facility or a fast-paced working environment.  Previous experience operating a clamp truck or forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.  Ability to handle large, heavy, and delicate materials with care and precision.  Work any shift, overtime hours and weekends as needed  Read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.   Calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.   Read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.  Work within a team and effectively communicate with others.  Excellent verbal communication skills while using handheld radios and headsets.  Basic computer literacy, including the ability to enter and retrieve data using touchscreens, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), or inventory/production/scheduling systems.  Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.  Must Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl for extended periods of time.  Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Must be able to operate various powered equipment such as forklift/clamp truck.  High School Diploma or equivalent  Must be authorized to work in the U.S.  Must be at least 18 years of age.   Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.  Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.   Preferred Skills:  Prior experience 3+ years in a corrugated manufacturing environment operating roll clamp/forklift truck.   Strong understanding of corrugated manufacturing operations and mechanical systems.    Machines/Tools/Equipment:  Steel toe boots, high visibility vest/shirt, safety glasses, and hearing protection must be worn at all times.    Small tools and Apparatus: Utility knife, measuring tape, air gun, pen, load tags, calculator, broom, hand banders etc.  Handheld Radios and Headsets.  Powered Equipment: Forklift, Clamp Truck, Lift, Pallet Jack.   Computer/Tablet  Printer/Copier    Safety:      Employees are expected to follow all including hot and cold environments.   Work may occur indoors and outdoors, with possible exposure to rain, snow, and other weather conditions.   Fast-paced industrial environment with moving
