What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse Psychiatric Nurse Manager, you will:

• Supervise and provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) within the designated program or region.
• Conduct regular supervision meetings, complete performance evaluations, and support staff development initiatives.
• Assist Program Directors with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified nursing staff.
• Manage nursing schedules, call-offs, no-shows, time-off requests, and staffing coverage needs.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies, procedures, protocols, assessment forms, and clinical documentation processes.
• Perform chart audits to ensure documentation accurately reflects medical and behavioral health status.
• Accept and implement physician orders and coordinate care among treatment team members.
• Assess and respond to new, ongoing, or potential medical and psychiatric health concerns.
• Provide medication administration training and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance and quality care.
• Support the overall medical and psychiatric health needs of individuals served.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, co-occurring behavioral health and substance use disorders, homelessness, community support services, residential treatment settings, or similar populations.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience, preferably within a clinical, behavioral health, or community-based healthcare setting.
• FBI clearance, if required.
• All trainings and certifications required by licensure.

Preferred:

• Experience supervising multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Experience working in behavioral health or long-term structured residential settings.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Day Shift with flexibility based on program needs
• Participation in staffing coverage coordination as needed
• On-call responsibilities for medical questions and nursing department staffing concerns

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and move throughout the facility as needed.
• Ability to perform nursing assessments and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to lift and assist individuals as required for safe care delivery.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
