Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-2pm.

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, skilled in clinical procedures, and committed to building strong patient relationships. You will play a key role in promoting oral health and supporting the overall treatment plan for each patient.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Preventive Treatment

  • Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planing
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting
  • Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans
  • Apply sealants, fluoride, and desensitizing agents

Patient Education

  • Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and long-term oral hygiene habits
  • Provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance related to oral health

Treatment Coordination & Documentation

  • Review and update medical histories and patient records
  • Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning
  • Document clinical findings accurately in patient management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)

Infection Control & Equipment Care

  • Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and treatment rooms

Qualifications

  • State Licensed Dental Hygienist
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Proficiency in Patient Management Software
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work accelerated hygiene efficiently and professionally in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
