Sonic Summary

The Manager of Hybrid Infrastructure & Hosting will serve as the primary architect and operator for the computer platforms at the new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility.
This role reports to the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations and involves managing the critical balance between local edge computing and enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
The position requires a strong understanding of both high-performance computing and cloud environments.
Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

As the Manager of Hybrid Infrastructure & Hosting, you will be the primary architect and operator of the computer platforms that power our new Battery Energy Storage System BESS manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations, you will lead the "engine room" of Ford Energy—managing the delicate balance between high-performance local edge computing on the factory floor and our enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform environment.
