As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you’ll provide individualized, direct bedside care to critically ill patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and utilize your clinical judgment to lead care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing patients requiring advanced cardiac, neuro, or hemodynamic supportÂ
- Using evidence-based practice and the nursing process to develop patient care plansÂ
- Supervising and delegating tasks to members of the healthcare teamÂ
- Participating in hourly rounding and maintaining a safe, patient-centered environmentÂ
- Taking charge responsibilities when needed Â
Qualifications
- Special SkillsÂ
- Strong critical thinking and communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced ICU settingÂ
- Excellent teamwork and collaborationÂ
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient careÂ
- Minimum RequirementsÂ
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU or acute care experienceÂ
- Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing schoolÂ
- Certifications:Â
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of ArizonaÂ
- BLS and ACLS (required per department/facility guidelines)Â
Preferred RequirementsÂ
- Experience: 2 years in ICU or Cardiac Stepdown with experience in neuro/cardiac assessments and hemodynamic monitoring Â
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Â
- Certification: Specialty certification a plusÂ
