What You’ll Do:

Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Operational Excellence: Provide vision, support, and strategic guidance to operations personnel to ensure the execution of safe, efficient, and standardized operating procedures across all departments.

  • Frontline Support: Serve as the primary point of accountability for plant performance, stepping in to perform Plant Supervisor functions as necessary to maintain continuity.

     

Performance Metrics & Reporting

  • Data-Driven Oversight: Rigorously monitor plant expenditures, production efficiencies, and delivery timelines to ensure the facility meets or exceeds KPIs.

  • Executive Briefing: Compile and analyze daily operational reports, providing the Area General Manager with factual insights and actionable data to inform regional strategy.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Safety Stewardship: Champion a culture of safety by ensuring 100%25 compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies for all internal staff and third-party contractors.

  • Proactive Mitigation: Identify and immediately rectify non-compliance issues or hazardous conditions; oversee all mandatory safety training and documentation requirements.

Human Capital Management

  • Talent Development: Lead the lifecycle of the employee experience, including talent selection, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.

  • Performance Coaching: Conduct regular performance reviews, utilizing established guidelines to ensure output meets company standards for both quality and volume.

Team Culture & Collaboration

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Foster a high-trust, collaborative environment across all operational departments while upholding company policies and maintaining high morale at every level of the organization.

Technical Production

  • Hands-on Operation: Maintain technical proficiency to manage Ready-Mix plant batching operations as required.

  • Equipment Mastery: Operate heavy equipment and oversee technical plant machinery to ensure production targets are met during peak demand or staffing gaps.

Administrative Agility

  • Adaptive Support: Execute additional duties and special projects as assigned to support the evolving needs of the business

Skills You’ll Need:

Education. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Experience. Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in ready-mix concrete operations is preferred. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Certifications. Ability to obtain a DOT Batch Plant Operator Certification as well as A.C.I. Level 1 Certification.  

Communication Skills. Must have a superior level of education to understand oral and written instructions of somewhat technical nature relating to products and vehicles.

Flexibility. Must be willing to work a rotating schedule with varying shifts and must be punctual in adhering to established start times. Must have ability to work independently and problem-solve while working alone or as part of a team.

Salary Range. The base salary range for this role is between $73 740 - $110 580 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.  When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
