The EH&S Coordinator supports the administrative and coordination functions of the EH&S program, including training records management, inspection log maintenance, safety documentation, and compliance tracking. This role ensures the EH&S team has the organizational support needed to operate effectively.
Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST IS NOT INCLUSIVE)
- Maintain training records, certifications, and safety credential tracking for all employeesÂ
- Coordinate safety training scheduling, room bookings, and participant communicationsÂ
- Maintain inspection logs, corrective action tracking records, and safety documentationÂ
- Assist with OSHA 300 log maintenance and annual 300A posting preparationÂ
- Coordinate distribution of PPE, safety supplies, and safety communication materialsÂ
- Support incident report filing, documentation organization, and records retentionÂ
- Assist with new hire safety onboarding logistics and orientation schedulingÂ
- Generate safety performance reports and dashboards for EH&S leadershipÂ
- Coordinate with project teams on safety documentation requirements and compliance deadlinesÂ
- Support the EH&S team with administrative and coordination tasks as directedÂ
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and administrative coordination skillsÂ
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word required)Â
- Attention to detail in record keeping, documentation, and compliance trackingÂ
- Effective communication with field staff, project teams, and EH&S leadershipÂ
- Reliability and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesÂ
- Experience with LMS or safety management systems preferredÂ
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferredÂ
- 1-3 years of safety administration, HR coordination, or office administration experienceÂ
- Construction or field service industry experience preferredÂ
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record requiredÂ
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to outdoor elements and construction site hazards.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb for extended periods.
