Pay: $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person - four locations
Schedule:
- 1st location (Hickory): Monday, 9:00am - 1:00pm, Tuesday, 9:00am - 4:30pm
- 2nd location (Lincolnton): Wednesday, 10:00am - 1:00pm
- 3rd location (Shelby): Thursday, 10:00am - 1:00pm
- 4th location (Statesville): Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
SUMMARY: The specimen Collector follows specimen (urine, saliva, and/or blood) collections protocols for collections.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Collector Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all patient paperwork is filled out correctly and all necessary information has been captured at the time of collection.
- Update and maintain patient information and records, as necessary, while ensuring patients complete privacy, observing HIPAA regulations into laboratory information systems.
- Perform and follow specimen (urine, blood, and salvia) collection protocols for specimen collection.
- Monitor and maintain supplies and supply records for all clinic needs. Communicate to lab any supply requests in a timely manner.
- Securely and safely package specimens for pick up by the lab's courier service.
- Follow general work protocols regarding breaks and cell phone usage during business hours.
- Ability to work with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the clinic's provider and laboratory management.
- Adherence to all clinic and OSHA standards/policies
- Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Dress in compliance with clinic needs.
Education and/or Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Customer Service.

- Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multitask, and the ability to complete the job without errors.
- Ability to work with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

- Ability to travel between four clinic locations as part of the regular weekly schedule.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License & Reliable Transportation (Required)

- Must be able to reliably commute to all four locations listed above as scheduled (Required)
