Job DetailsJob Location: 460 Hollywood Ave - Carneys Point, NJ 08069Position Type: InternshipSalary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyRole: The Social Media & Marketing Intern will support the Salem Community College’s digital marketing efforts by assisting with content creation, social media management, and campaign execution. This internship is designed as a learning-focused experience that provides hands-on exposure to real-world marketing while developing professional communication and creative skills.    Major Duties and Responsibilities:  Assisting in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms  Supporting content planning using a social media calendar  Assisting with basic graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite)  Supporting marketing campaigns, promotions, or events  Performing other marketing-related tasks as assigned  QualificationsKnowledge and Skills:        Education                            Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university, majoring in Marketing, Communications, English, or                                                           Business Media   Interpersonal Skills              Ability to work with a diverse student/staff population at various  levels.  Ability to exercise tact, patience, initiative, persistence, and good judgment.  Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, especially with students and staff.    Technical Skills                    Working knowledge of current and emerging computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office products.        Other Skills                         Demonstrate ability to be self-disciplined, professional, and  motivated.  Demonstrate a pleasant, outgoing                                                              personality, a stable  and courteous disposition, and a record of dependability.                                                                   Demonstrate the ability to concentrate in a busy environment with  frequent interruptions to workflow.    Physical Requirements                   The work is mostly sedentary; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items,                                                                  driving an automobile, etc.  No special physical demands are required to perform the work.    Work Environment                           Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.      This Job Description is not a complete statement of all duties and responsibilities comprising this position.
